Sword Stained With Royal Blood (Traditional Chinese: 碧血劍; Simplified Chinese: 碧血剑; Pinyin: bì xuě jiàn) is a Wuxia novel written by Louis Cha or known by his pen name Jin Yong (金庸). Set in the final years of the Ming Dynasty. The story revolves around Yuan ChengZhih, the son of a Ming general who was wrongfully accused of treason by the Emperor ChongZhen. Yuan grows up to be a master martial artist, who wants nothing more than to avenge his father, and clear his name. Complications arise when Yuan ChengZhih falls for the emperor's daughter, Princess Changping.
