Emei Sect (simplified Chinese: 峨嵋派; traditional Chinese: 峨嵋派; pinyin: É Méi Paì) is one of the leading righteous orthodox sects in the [[Jiang Hu]]. The school is located at Mount Emei in the basin of SiChuan Province. The beautiful majesty of the mountain earned Mount Emei as "The Most Beautiful Mountain Under Heaven". It is the one of the most renowned Buddhist and Taoist sanctuaries in Central Plains. In [[Wulin]], Emei Sect is one of the "[[Four Great Sword Sects]]" (四大劍派). The members of the Emei Sect are predominantly female and the leaders are Buddhist nuns, however it has male disciples as well. Emei Sect is founded in the early Yuan Dynasty by [[Guo Xiang]] (郭襄) around the same time as the founding of the [[Wudang Sect]].
